Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 10 August 2026
Please read these terms carefully before purchasing. By placing an order with AceUpStudy you agree to be bound by them.
1. Who we are
AceUpStudy ("we", "us", "our") sells digital revision resources for GCSE and A-Level students in the United Kingdom.
- Trading name: AceUpStudy
- Contact email: aceupstudy@gmail.com
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
2. About these terms
These terms apply to every order placed through aceupstudy.co.uk. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Where anything in these terms conflicts with your legal rights, your legal rights take priority.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the moment you place your order.
3. Who can buy from us
Our resources are made for GCSE and A-Level students, and there is no minimum age to buy from us. If you are using someone else's payment card, please make sure you have their permission first.
4. Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because a product has been withdrawn or a pricing error has occurred — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling. No VAT is charged on our products. The price shown at checkout is the total amount you will pay. Payment is taken through Shopify's secure payment providers, and we do not store your card details.
We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
6. Delivery of your resources
All our products are digital downloads. After payment you will receive an email containing a download link, normally within a few minutes. Your purchases also remain available through your AceUpStudy account.
If your email has not arrived within an hour, check your spam or junk folder first, then contact us and we will resend it.
7. Your right to cancel, and why it usually does not apply
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content and receive a refund.
This right is lost once download or access begins, provided you have agreed to that in advance. At checkout you expressly consent to immediate access to your digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right to cancel.
This means: if you have downloaded or accessed a file, you no longer have an automatic right to cancel. If you have bought a product but have not downloaded or accessed it, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund by emailing us.
Nothing in this section affects your rights where a product is faulty or not as described — see section 8.
8. If something is wrong with your product
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a price reduction or refund where a repair or replacement is not possible or not provided within a reasonable time.
Significant problems
Contact us at aceupstudy@gmail.com if you experience any of the following:
- A file that is corrupted, will not open, or is otherwise unusable
- Receiving a different product from the one you ordered
- Content that does not match its description on the product page
Please describe the problem clearly and include your order number. We will resolve it by providing a working file, a replacement, or a refund as appropriate.
Minor problems
If a product contains a small error or typo that does not affect its overall usability, we will issue a corrected version. Where we do so promptly, a refund will not normally be due.
Goodwill alternatives
Where a refund is not legally due, we may still offer store credit or a replacement product of equal value at our discretion. Accepting one of these does not affect any statutory rights you may have.
9. What you may and may not do with our resources
When you buy a product, you are buying a licence to use it — not ownership of the content itself. All intellectual property rights remain ours.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the materials for your own private study. You may print copies for your own use.
What is not permitted
- Sharing, sending, selling or otherwise distributing our materials to anyone else, whether for payment or free of charge
- Uploading them to file-sharing sites, cloud folders, group chats, forums or social media
- Reproducing, adapting or reselling the content, in whole or in part
- Using the materials commercially, including in paid tutoring, without our written permission
- Removing or altering any branding, watermark or copyright notice
Enforcement
Each purchase licenses one individual user. We monitor the distribution of our content. Where these terms are breached we may withdraw access to purchased products without refund, and we reserve the right to pursue further remedies available to us in law.
If you are a school or organisation wanting to use our materials with multiple students, contact us about a group licence.
10. About our content and predicted papers
Our resources are written by students who have achieved strong results, and are mapped to the published specifications of the relevant exam boards. We take care over accuracy but cannot guarantee that every detail is free from error, and specifications change.
Our predicted papers are informed opinion, based on analysis of past papers, examiner reports and topic frequency. They are not leaked, official, or endorsed by any exam board, and they are not a prediction of what will actually appear. They should be used alongside full revision of the specification, never as a substitute for it.
We do not guarantee any particular grade or outcome. Results depend on your own work, and the materials are a study aid rather than a promise of performance.
AceUpStudy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel, WJEC or any other examination body. Exam board names are used only to identify which specification a resource covers.
11. Availability of the website
We aim to keep the site available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the site for business or operational reasons, and will give notice where reasonably possible.
12. Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and under your statutory consumer rights.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any loss arising from your use of the materials for commercial purposes.
13. Your privacy
We handle your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Details of what we collect and why are set out in our Privacy Policy.
14. Complaints
If you are unhappy with a product or with how we have handled something, email aceupstudy@gmail.com and we will do our best to put it right. If we cannot resolve matters between us, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution service or take the matter to court.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own local courts.
